Christian Radio in Ukraine

With nearly 50 million people, Ukraine is the sixth most populous country in Europe and ranks 24th in the world. It covers more area than any nation in Europe except for Russia.

UKRAINE GRANTS LICENCE FOR KIEV'S FIRST 24-7 CHRISTIAN RADIO STATION

After five years of applying, the National Committee of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasts has granted a seven-year licence for Kiev's first 24-hour-a-day Christian radio station.

Broadcasting Breakthrough in Ukraine

International Christian broadcaster Trans World Radio (TWR) has seized
another strategic opportunity to proclaim the Good News of God's love over a nationwide FM radio network.
 
TWR's Ukrainian programs can now be heard over 217 local FM and medium wave (AM) transmitters throughout the former Soviet republic of Ukraine.

HCJB World Radio has helped with local radio ministries in seven Ukrainian cities: Kiev, Kherson, Makeyevka, Nadvornaja, Rovno, Simferopol and Zaporozhye.

Ukrainian programs also air daily via shortwave from a leased shortwave site in the U.K. 

HCJB World Radio is affiliated with Donetsk Christian University, offering an annual radio training program in Kiev to students from across the former Soviet Union. Kiev is also the site of the ministry's regional office for Euro-Asia as well as the Ukrainian world
