- Sometimes people are being saved and churches planted as a result someone hearing a Christian broadcast.
- Radio brings much needed teaching to Christians in isolated areas where they may have little fellowship.
- Radio and literature go together: a book becomes a series of radio programmes, and vice versa.
GBM has a team of workers and a suite of recording studios at the Mission Centre in Abingdon, near Oxford where the English and French language programmes are produced for broadcast by many different transmitters around the world.
Traditionally Christian radio broadcasts have mainly used short-wave in order to reach wide areas with their message. However, the majority of programmes are now aired over FM local stations since this has become more popular and reasonably cheap. Because of this, part of the GBM Radio ministry is to train nationals to make use of the opportunities offered to them locally.
GBM Radio receives regular feedback from over 50 countries, an indication of how The Lord is blessing this ministry.
