UCB expands DAB ?
UCB - United Christian Broadcasters - currently broadcast on DAB digital radio in the UK to the London and Stoke on Trent areas with a potential audience of 11 million.
UCB have now announced that they are on the verge of signing contracts which will enable them to commence broadcasting on other DAB systems with a potential of reaching a further 17.6 million people in England and Wales.
The new DAB coverage would extend from the area around Newcastle upon Tyne in the north of England, to the DAB system covering the area around Bristol and parts of south Wales.
UCB hope to sign contracts by mid-July which will enable UCB UK to become available in these new areas by October 2007.
