Revelation TV

Sky/Astra Satellite channel 676

Revelation TV is one of two Christian television channels which can truly claim to be a United Kingdom channel (the other being UCB TV).

Broadcasting from within the UK, under the strict Ofcom regulations (most other UK channels broadcast from outwith the UK to escape these regulations), Revelation TV endeavours to provide a very different range of programmes from the other "God Channels".

Live amd interactive programming, warts and all, is the major differentiator with Revelation TV. In this sense, Revelation TV is the only Christian TV channel which is able to deal with events as they happen, delivering a television station which gives the impression of being more in contact with people and the world.

Revelation TV also endeavours to be more creative and more prolific in its programme production than any other Christian tv channel. This displays itself in the creation of a number of high quality, well constructed and edited, feature programmes together with a desire to encourage and record the music of Christian musicians.

Revelation TV is an independent Christian television station. It is not part of The God Channel (God TV) and does not receive any funding from the telethons run by The God Channel.

Revelation TV was founded by Howard Conder, one time drummer in such 60s groups as The Barron Knights and Joe Brown and the Bruvvers. Howard and his wife Lesley worked for the media department of YWAM (Youth with a Mission) when they were on one of their Mercy Ships. Today they are respected media practitioners in the UK Christian media scene. More info on Howard, Lesley and the team.

Programming from Revelation TV can be found on Sky/Astra channel 676, online via the station's website at www.revelationtv.com and often on the output of Classics TV on Sky/Astra channel 252.
